I use paint thinner and a rag and it worked fine.

I got a set of 9091 fogs from the junkyard and someone actually painted the fogs the same color of the car.

Its like they painted them because the bulbs blew out and they didn't know how to change them and just painted them to get an inspection sticker or somthing. The lens where gloss black and i used paint thinner with a rag and a little elbow grease and they come out mint.

its what started the whole headlight restorer bandwagon.. and if you have heavier oxidation or real bad over spray you start with mothers mag and aluminum polish and finish with the plastix. I use the plastix all over the place, clean and polish my glasses, clean laptops, headlights..anything really thats plastic

Alright someone told me to use a clay kit worst waste of my money
And I thought paint thinner was bad for plastics but I will give that a shot before I fork out some more money for the plastx

no a clay kits for auto paint, it works well when done right. paint thinner would work, may leave a hazy finish. but ultimately theyll need a polish
