My EX sedan had the self adhesive wood trim installed on the dash bezel, power window switch on the door, transmission shift plate, glove box, ash tray, cup holder, and the right side A/C vent housing. It was lifting and cracked in several places, so I'm eliminating from the car. The only piece I am having trouble with is the right side A/C vent housing. I got the moveable vent out of the housing, but how does the housing come out of the dash? I don't see any screws like the main dash trim and I've pulled until I thought I was going to break it. I searched, but results are typically for main dash trim or just the moveable vent portion removal.

Got it! Removed the glove box. From behind, there are two spring clips at the bottom of the vent housing that have to be compressed upward to permit the bottom of the housing to be pulled out; that then allows the housing to drop enough for the one clip on top to release.
