    Neo Chrome Valve Cover

I had done a search on here and no results. I am interested in getting a valve cover job done. BUT I am trying to get it neo chrome. I was able to find neo chrome lug nuts and oil cap on ebay, but no valve cover. I was wondering does any one on here have a neo chrome valve cover or would anyone have pictures? or an idea of about how much it would cost to get this done? Thank you all in advanced.

I inquired about getting this done a while ago, and it was somewhere near $400 for one valve cover.

Not sure what Neo Chrome is but there is a company in Valencia, California called Creations in (or N) Chrome. Haven't been there, but the site looks interesting for jobs done in chrome.

Neochrome is actually paint...But the paint is oober expensive, so your lookin around the 100s to 500s range! Ridiculous IMO! Why not polish and then used anodized blue and purple paint and fade in different places on a polished valve cover? It would kinda give an impression of neochrome

Thats an idea, i would rather have someone else who knows their shit do that so i can avoid the risk of screwing up my valve cover. Granted, i have two but still i would rather avoid the risk.

just dump motor oil all over you engine and you would see the color's of the rainbow.....JK. If you want to do this to you valve cover i suggest getting a H22 or any other motor and doing it to its valve cover that's my opinion but its a cool idea getting a neo chrome valve cover

yea because sooner or later u might swap the motor and then you would be left with a Neo Chrome F22 valve cover that no one want to buy because of the price. A H22 Neo chrome valve cover would look better IMO.

it is definitely not paint. it is a plating process.

check the link in the photos.

That's who I contacted. Plating processes are always expensive, and the neo-chro process adds an expensive and risky procedure in which they impart a huge, instantaneous electrical charge on the part that changes the color of the plating.

So basically is not coloring at all they just add a big burst of electricity in there to get that color? I remember i once had a neo chrome butterfly knife....til some bastard stole it
