    The 3m tape should be fine. That is if it's real 3m tape, and you clean the with rubbin alcohol.

        Be careful with any alcohol base solution. I use goof off or goo gone i think the second one but if it sits on the visor it will eat some of the plastic. So if used try and apply to a towel or rag first. Then i would use a screwdriver to remove the adhesive if need be.

          i had the same experience.
          waxing will help if the visors are slightly eroded.

              i have ebay visors and havent had a problem, ive had them for more than 2 or around 3 yrs. this guy gave me a tip which is when installing them use a heat gun to melt the 3m tape a little bit to make it stronger. but yes definitely oem is better more expensive but worth it.

                I bought my car with AVS window visors and I have owned it for over a year without any problems. I also wash my car with a pressure washer all the time and they are still on there pretty strong. I don't know exactly how they are held on though. Never really took a good look at them.
