DIY grill brainstorm?

Well i've been gathering a few grills and parts, and im not sure what my plan is.

maybe something new, but not tacky..which is hard, everything's been done..

when i had my last grill taken apart, the molding cracked in half. the two pieces fit perfect on the middle grill slat and gave me and idea to use multiple molding on one grill.. 3 would make it look close to the eastbear grill imo.

heres some rough photoshopped pics of what 3 additional moldings on each side would look like:





im not too sure about that look..its not too bad. but still idk


you guys have any ideas/input for a new grill to see made??

yeah, ill try a better one.. might be harder since its still a photoshop..thats some random old picture of my car i used to make up a grill on ps.

i also like the box style like the g square, ive had the hollowed out 93 grill already.

just need some inspiration

honeycomb

I am planning on doing a 90-91 grill with real honeycomb insert taken from the front of a Ford truck or a Chevy.

I think it will look better than the typical gutter liner, but will be more of a pain in the ass to fit.

that does look good. diy grills have kind of died down. because it does seem everything has been done.

removed the honda emblem part of the molding, and hollowed out. here are some added molding photoshopped pics:

i dont know, really..i like the 3 slotted grill.. the 5 might look out.. i just think it may be too clustered when actually built.

and the four doesnt looked right to me

edit: the 5 slotted one looks like a billet grille in a way lol

mine had this grill when i bought it. people seemed to like it because it was unique.....its recently been kinda damaged when i got into my little accident but its still unique. havent seen anyone else do it...

the grill in my sig was made about 8 years ago... not the same as an eastbear if u look closely.

I love that grill and if I have the guts enough,I may do both cars this summer with these as the "floating" badge.
