    Llumar Window Tint

Quality? Experience? Does it tend to be pricier than "standard" tint? Im thinking about getting my windows done and i want good, quality stuff. The CB's tint started fading and purpling after 4 or 5 years but it was just standard tint; i dont want that. Ive heard Llumar doesnt have a purple base but has anyone had it for 4-5+ years?

Im looking for reviews and prices paid(or to be expected) for tint jobs.

I have Llumar on my CB. I personally tinted it in 1990 when my aunt bought the car new. Now that I DD the car the tint is starting to turn purple. I think the only reason it lasted this long is because the car has spent most of it's life in a garage. Having been in the tint business for 15 years I would say that Llumar is a very good brand.

I figured garage time is a factor. My CB was pretty much outside every day. Most of the places ive called use Global or SunTech.

One place that uses Llumar, or at least for a llumar job, charges $200 for everything but the windshield and anything above 5%.
