to the OP about a lip, I have a volvo lip on my car that I got from agol. I'm lower then you and scrape it ALOT. and it has held through it all, it doesn't break, it does get occasional scuffs on the bottom but really it's held up alot stronger then I expected.

Well I scraped mine all the time to, thats was not the problem. When you hit a deep pot hole things dont just scrape. lol
Its ok, I will have a lot of things different on my car in the spring time!
