    CD5 coilovers on our cb's

    One of the guys at work that i know has a CD5 accord and has a set of Tein Super Street coilovers. Just wanted to know if they would fit our cars.

        SS are very good ride also. it's an upgrade on the Basics. which are already 1000 dollars new.

          yeah and this is the set of coilovers i would get later but if i can get my hands on these now then i'll save a few hundred hopefully.

            so if i wanted to lower my accord i just buy coil overs for a cd accord and they will fit?

              You could. but they're for the CD's they have different spring rates

              just because it fits doesn't mean you should.

                for tein springs and coilovers 90-97 accord spring rates are the same just the drop is different i think its the same with other brands not 100% sure on that though

                  im just saying the only thing i have been able to find to lower my cb is springs from some back company in japan....ok here is my question i guess. i want my cb as low as alexs. here is a pic...

                  what should i get?

                      function and form type 1s will achieve that look for you on the cheap. and yes u will have to roll your fenders depending on what offset / tyres / wheel size you have.

                        type1 for CB application not CD5. CD5 alone had problems of maxing out on CBs and not even lower all too much. StickyDilJoe had to test fit and have CB batch made.

                        I have Tein SS, and maxed out i still have 2 finger gaps
