I've recently noticed some hairline cracks in my CF hood...They're hardly noticeable, but is there some way to repair this? Or, possible cover it up. Thanks in advance.

all you really can do is paint over it.. i had the same problems from drilling for my hood pins and it's under the clear so you can't do much.Adam - Retired OG member from '03

Assuming the cracks are in the clearcoat itself, not the actual fiberglass/carbon hood...it can be sanded down and respray the clear coat, or if the cracks are small enough, you might get away with cut and buffing it out. But it is fixable, most body/paint shops should be able to fix it.
Also you might wanna watch and see if it cracks more, the colder weather could affect it.

akkordlayinkit: Thanks for the advice man, I'll definitely call around, get some price quotes on something like this.
Uncle_el: So true, it doesn't like to flex... I'm just glad it's not bad.
Rebels: Painting over may work, but i'd rather just get a new cf hood. new cf hood=250, paint=500? Good idea though.
