Door removal!

I got a door from the yard, but I encountered an issue.

Usually on the Civics, there's a plug for the wiring for the door to go to the car. Where the hell is this for the CBs?!

I got so frustrated (cause it was humid and my buddy was annoying lol) I ended up just cutting it off.

There is a plug. I'm pretty sure it is just inside the door skin, you might have to pull that boot back or something to get at it.

I know for sure there is a plug there somewhere, Ive had my drivers door off before and I didnt have to cut any wires.

Take a look inside the door skin, just where the wire passes through. I betcha its there.

Hopefully you cut the harness on the jy door. I'm pretty sure there is a plug just beyond the grommet going into the door. I had my doors off when I painted the car, but that goes back three years now so I don't remember for sure.

correct..... just have to unseat the grommet and fish it out a little..... sometimes it'll get hung up but it will come loose

I figured. It's like having a foglight, headlight, or any plug, etc. with a pigtail. I cut the harness on the JY door, not on my car.
