    was thinking about doing this..

Well since my car has a tan interior, and i did my center counsle and it turned out well, i was considering doing the a-pillars and the roof liner black also... since all that never gets touched, it won't get scratched.
good or bad idea? I think the a-pillars come off without too much trouble right?

meh I've never seen it turn out really good, and it will eventually wear, and constantly smell in the heat :td:

If you do the headliner...its gonna make the interior seem super small. I wouldn't.

I've gota find the name of the stuff, but i herd there's a paint made by krylon, that's actually a stain, not a paint. It acutally penetrates the plastic, and stains it permanently. So even if you scratch it, the paint wont scratch off

I need to find out what it is because I'm going to do my whole interior eventually, if i cant get ahold of the black interior.

ive done that and it doesnt look bad and it doesnt smell either...i liked how it turned out but i think im going to cover the headliner in fiberglass and paint it...i want it to be nice and smooth fiberglass...but its not hard to do, you just have to take all the a-pillar stuff off in order to get to the roof liner.

i did all my vinal and plastic in black. it smells only for a couple days. i used sem color coat vinal and plastic paint. no problems whatsoever with scratching or fading just prep ur work real good with rubbing alchol before painting. it will however make it feel a little smaller in the car but i got used to it quick.

It looks good for a few months and then turns to ass. My friend did this to his 5th gen and a year later it looks so horrible.

My friend Jason dyed his headliner and glassed all his pillars and they are perfect, but he has a show car too so he spent much time and prep materials on it.

i did the headlinger with an interior paint that wal mart carriesin the auto section. I have tried to scratch it and it WILL NOT scratch off. it is black and actually makes the interior alot better looking. Especially now that I have REX SI seats :-P

i painted the pillars to be like an outline which i think looks pretty cool and i used plastic fusion paint and it hasnt chipped even when abused
