so i painted my car all on my own never done but damn ill do it again any day especially when you only spent 30$ for paint because 3 other went in on it.
looks good. i think it will fade after a while but u can't beat $30...
there is some sort of special paint for matte black/flat black cars that use a dull clear coat i think that protects it but doesn't give it a shine
its not primer its paint so it wont fade. the paint cost 120$ but it was split between friends. its called hot rod flats by kustom paint its made to give you the right murderd out look. it was my first time painting.

in most rattle can jobs.. it will.. in a few summers.. been there, done that.. use Pledge (yes, that household cleaning product) after a good wash to even out the blemishes.. not too much though..
Mercyboy: I rather lose by a mile because I built my own car then win by an inch because someone else built it for me..your car is your story, so don't let someone else write the book!
