    CD5 side skirts help!!!

So I really want to do a CD5 side skirt install, and I've been searching through the forums and I came across a great DIY:

    http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...ght=Ext%3A+oem

....but it's 6 years old! I need a little bit of help with this one. Anyone have a good DIY that explains just about everything the one above doesn't have pics for?

On an added note, would the CD5 coupe side skirts fit on a CB7 sedan?

I did this before on my other Cb and what I did was cut of the little plastic parts where the clips go and I just screwed the lip from the top and bottom and they are kinda short you can cover that with some mudflaps.

that's the same DIY that i will be following when i attempt this install, rocketman =] i noticed too that the pictures were down, unfortunately i didn't think to do the skirts until AFTER the pictures got wiped off! >_<'

but if you're willing to wait like... maybe a week or two, i'll try and get on this side skirt project amidst my classes and take some pics of my install. i'm hoping that I'll get to do the skirts soon, since right now i'm preoccupied with my leather seat swap.

otherwise, you can just go for it! i did see the pictures before they got wiped off, so if you have any questions about a step, feel free to ask me and i'll see if i can remember what it looked like in the picture

I'm still debating whether to do this or not. I don't want to go ahead with it until I see installed photos first. I haven't been able to find any.

aight guys, i finished up my leather seat swap, as well as my cd5 lip install. as soon as I get a free day to work on things, i'll pick up the side skirt project and take pictures for you both. probably gonna be next monday, but if on saturday theres still light out when i get back from work, i might just get a headstart. sorry for the long wait! monday will most likely be the day! I'll make sure to get pictures from any angle i can think of that can help on where to mount and do stuff

use these key terms for searching: cd5, skirt, side skirt, 5th gen... should pop up, or at least something should come up.

at first i liked the cd5 side skirt mod, but the more i see it on our cars imo i dont like it.

not knockin the ppl who do like it, i just dont.

only thing thats really diff is the rear wear it curves.

i hope to find a oem sideskirt from a car and make a nice diy out of it some day.

we nee dmore side skirt optionssssssssssss

I tried mounting mine a few months back but got so frustrated and had to put my OEM ones back on. Nothing was lining up! But if you can get it to work, then it may convice me to give it another try....I've still got those things lying in my garage.
