Engine bay seam sealer

I've been trying to clean up my bay and I accidently wired wheeled some of the sealer off, so since I did that what can I do to patch it up, should I use bondo or have the seam welded I'm pretty good at doing stuff on my own but what would last longer. Body work people or people who have done this chime in please

The rust aint that bad

i would grind off as much rust as possible. then use a epoxy primer over the area. then apply seam sealer if you want too

like oneoff said. primer it. you may want to use a rust neutralizer primer first then an epoxy primer then seam sealer.

So I can prime it and leave it flat just to get rid of the natey overly done seam goop job the did, without worries if so I'm going to do my best to make it look like no seam sealant was never used.

As for the rust I'm sanding it completely away then I'm going to use something to block the rust from not coming back
