Like JoshM said, I think it would look awesome if the vertical bars were shorter and even if you built some sort of brush guard...to protect your headlights...it would look awesome and be functional
I think it could work. Some big mud flaps, shorter vertical bars for sure, brush guards to protect headlights, lower offset 15" wheels with nice fat tires, etc. It could work.

Nothing wrong with functional lights in the winter.
Are they driving beam or fog beam? I've had experience with both (Hella 500 Ambers in fog pattern and Hella 500FF in driving pattern and prefer the fog pattern).
i saw it on HT, thought everyone here would be lovin or hating it. personally, i like that the kid has the balls to do it and not worry about how flush his rims are.
