Carbon Fiber Hood Closing Issue

Ok, have had the cf hood for a little over 5 months now, didn't install hood pins because the latch seemed so well made and it hooked so nicely when closed, i figured I didn't need them...

Long story short, my hood is having issues closing now, major ones, it sometimes closes, sometimes doesn't, if I pop it, it takes @ least 3-5 mins to close while playin around w/it. So, now I'm like wtf is goin on with this???

Anyone else have this problem, keep in mind, it was fine for 5 months, no problems @ all. Secondly, I'm debating getting either mugen hood pins or momo. Good choices im assuming.

Try pulling the wire by the lock assembly, i used to have that problem because the wire wasn't returning to locking position on its own.

I had problems closing my hood, you got to take off the latch and mess around with putting washers in to make the latch line up with the hood better maybe, or try installing the hood either more upwards or downwards when you screw in those 4 bolts.

Ok i know how to fix it when the hood doesn't close but without a pic it's gon be hard. Once i get home i'll try to write it down as detailed as possible. It takes like 10 sec to fix it with a flat screwdriver and some but kinda hard to explain.

Why doesnt your hood close anymore? did it warp?

On the latch on the car push down the part of the latch that has a spring connected to it.. It should fix that .

It's CF (fiberglass shell underneath) not the brightest idea because you'll crack your hood pulling a stunt like that.
