New E-Brake Wood Handle

Wanted to add Wood to the E-brake this was the only way

What You think?



They have them in Carbonfilber and other colors. for $15 can't go wrong

IMO fake wood is worse than fake carbon fiber, and looks 100x worse. if you want a wood ebrake handle, go ask a woodworker what he would charge do do something simple on a lathe. it would be just like turning a big pen and shouldnt cost that much. mounting it might be an issue, but double sided tape is always an option and would be pretty sturdy on the ebrake.

as for the rest of it, the steering wheel wrap is really cheesy , as is the vinyl wrap on the dash insert etc. (especially with that "carbon fiber" around the guages). A good wood steering wheel and shift knob would look MUCH better in my opinion.

Every Thing you said is true, but when your low on cash and there's not that many wood options (getting a wood gauge) what else can you do

all cars that have wood are fake right? or is it real?

I have seen worst cheesy CB's in my life and this to me its better than paint. the wood didn't all match completely but its close

Not all of them are fake. You can get interior for some cars that is actual wood.

They can say its real but I don't think its real wood.... and if it is real wood can you feel it ?

no since there is gloss on it.

Wood grain cluster will b kinda cool, u can wrap it with the viynal sheet like u did with the ebrake.

I found a place local that will do it for $30 but have not had the cash for it yet.

hey that loooks clean as hell esp with your interior theme. what kind of product u use on your dash it looks nice.

i use the armor all wipes cause they stay wet like jizz longer than the spray on stuff. thanks

Yea I use armor all wipes with some amor all spay to help it out to remove dirt I use the orange stuff they sell in autozone

Who did you A/C controls? and the bb6 cluster?

I think a darker wood would look better with the cappuccino interior color. Also, I don't think even OEM "wood" interiors are real wood. They have a clear overlay that adds depth that these dash kits do not, but otherwise, I'm pretty sure they are composites as well.
