i used that textured paint and was to lazy to cover the letters.

Honestly it looks wayyyy cooler with the letters painted.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

    Retro!

Yeah, I did the same thing.

Now I want to paint the letters black. I just don't know what to use to do it.

Go with model paint. The temps on the top of the VC really aren't that high. My entire VC (and my SRI) is done with model spray paint and I haven't had any problems with it at all.

I'd use a brush and bottle. They also sell a liquid mask that you can use instead of tape.

Paint the vc the letter color first then tape off the letters and spray with th vc color. Doing it the other way would be a bitch. All you'll need is a sharp exacto knife and some quailty painters tape. You could posably use fine line to make it a little easier but it would cost more.

can't go wrong and you don't have to worry about taping anything off

Not a bad idea. I gotta try and find some of that.

I had my old vc powdercoated wrinkle red. Then, I took some high-temp duplicolor black that I had and sprayed it into a cup. Next, I used a q-tip to brush the letters black. A steady hand is all you need.

There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!
