Should I get tinted or not? Wheel issue

I've been wanting to get the rears tinted for awhile not. Tomorow is tentatively the day, but I'm having second thoughts now that I have silver wheels instead of the black ex's. Right now I like the way the car looks, well balanced, no tint and light colored wheels.

If I get tint, will the car look unbalanced with dark up top and light wheels? The last thing I have time for is painting the wheels black. I'm at work oN my phone, but if ssomeone is able to find a pic of my car and PS some tint on the rear windows, I would appreciate it a lot.

Opinions and thoughts welcomed.

get the car tinted. you dont need black wheels to have the car look good
with tint. if anything it gives the car a more cleaner look. I went with 35 all around, and its perfect. no more lights in your eyes, and makes the silver look alot cleaner.

you can never lose with tinted windows. Talk about unbalanced, I had 5% on my integra when it was primer white... Talk about clashing.

I guess I'll go with a light tint. I'm just thinking it'll look off. Kind of like matching clothes. You can have any color pants on, if the shirt and shoes match, you're usually ok. Same here. It's like my car is going to have a black top on, but silver shoes... Just doesn't look right in my head.

But I guess I'll adapt if need be, cause I want tint.


And I know that rule doesn't always apply. You can have tint and red wheels or bronze, etc... It's just that silver alloys are almost like having no color, cause they're all silver. Then they get painted according to preferences, red, blue, green and so on.

i love tint but my stupi state aloud it i been put over and fine so many time i tought i beat the system but i was wrong lol

Light tint for sure. It will look good. Don't over do it and get it limo tinted though.

on hand, the guy thats doing it has 20 and 50. i think im just gonna go with 50... not sure whether all around or just the backs.


i know its not dark, but im not sure i want any tint in the front. last thing i need is one more reason for cops to pull me over. my wife got pulled over a couple weeks ago for tint, by a chp... and he popped the hood. he was lookin all close like he forgot his glasses at home.

well, i did it. 20% on the rears. doesnt look too bad. i do want to get an 80% on the fronts, mostly for antiglare/uv. and for now, im leaving the wheels.





i know its a bad angle, so its kinda hard to see the comparison with the glare, but thats all i can get for now.

Thanks. I'm getting front and rear visors. I think thaat will compliment and help transition from the tintless fronts to the rears.

And no, I didn't get jdm ones. Don't care enough to pay the price.
