I always thought rice was only an insult...didn't know it had a meaning like "Race inspired cosmetic enhancements"...lol learn something everyday...

calling it "Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements" is just a more technical or nicer way of calling it "rice". if thats the word for it then Ronald_TypeR's car has "rice" writen all over it

im sorry guys, but "carbon fiber" vinyl is and always has been the definition of rice in my book. of course, ive also felt the same way about laying real carbon over metal parts, it just looks poser-ish to me.
i have always thought that rice was trying to make your car look like its something that it isnt or doing something the wrong/janky way just because it was cheaper or easier than the correct way of doing things.

i mean obviously do what you want with your cars (and that phone does look pretty badass), but you will never see me even contemplating doing this with my car.

Damn, this makes me want to do my roof. I have the real deal with the hood and trunk, and a real cf roof would be super baller. I have always wanted the roof to match, and this might be the way.

I've got enough performance I would like to think that I can do some aesthetics here and there, even if it is in questionable fake material.

it shouldnt matter about how much performance you have man if i was trying to make my car a purpose built track car, id redo the entire car in CF(if i had the money). but im not and i dont. lol. do it man. im sure it'll look good on your cb

I just received a sample of White carbon. It's pretty subtle, in the right light you can see the texture, other than that it looks white lol.

I received a free sample from www.dinocfilm.com. The 3M carbon fiber vinyl is amazing, it's the closest to real cf I've ever seen. Finally I've found what I'm looking for!!
