3M Dry Carbon Fiber Vinyl...where to buy?

they sell it on their site but its like $15 a can for it. me and my friend here in NC are going in together on some of this wrap tho. you want to get in on it? were gonna get maybe 3 or 4 yards of it.

Dang I haven't priced that stuff in forever. I would go in on it but i'm still unemployed right now. I have got to get out of this town. I haven't worked in like 4 months or so. It's depressing.

I took the sample and used half of it on my phone. I didn't use heat so the corners were hard to wrap, also the surface is small and complex. I wonder how the vinyl wraps with heat applied.

yeah. i got my samples. but for like 4ft wide x 5ft long sheet of it from dincofilm.com is like $200. then they charge you $50 cut fee or some crap like that. ugh....

a little heat from what i have read will soften it up a little and you lay it.... im probly going to order some...its just hard to get past 60ish dollars

yeah. take a blow dryer or a heat gun to it to get it to conform to the shape you want. it doesnt just fold right out the box.

I had mine dipped on my 01 accord cost me 700.00 to do and took a month lol thought i share and its not the stiker ones either lol sorry for spelling

that actually looks good. would have looked better with the interior being a darker color but it still looks nice tho.

thatnk and i have the silver carbon fiber on the door pannels and the headrest upholster i did em my self lol and the one in tha back were the rear speakers go lol ima do the headliner and dash cover soon

im sorry guys, but "carbon fiber" vinyl is and always has been the definition of rice in my book. of course, ive also felt the same way about laying real carbon over metal parts, it just looks poser-ish to me.
i have always thought that rice was trying to make your car look like its something that it isnt or doing something the wrong/janky way just because it was cheaper or easier than the correct way of doing things.

i mean obviously do what you want with your cars (and that phone does look pretty badass), but you will never see me even contemplating doing this with my car.
