i feel like a total noob

Ok so i had my haynes manual out the other day because i had never taken my front bumper off before.

i start reading, i take a few nuts off then it tells me that i have to remove the headlights so that i can reach the last few nuts.

ok. so i turn to the headlight removal section. well it tells me that i have to remove the bumper first... i start looking around under the headlights and stuff and yea you do have to remove the headlights.

so i say to myself 'hmm i think cb7tuner.com has a DIY bumper removal thread.'

i get on today and lo-and-behold i cant find it.

is there a bumper removal thread or am i crazy? if so can someone hook me up with a link?
    thanks

to remove the bumper cover itself, yes you need at the two bolts under the headlights. to remove the bumper support, cover, and steel bumper all in one piece is a LOT easier. behind each headlights there is a 14mm bolt on the "floor" of the engine bay. you will need to pull the battery to easily get at the passenger side one. then you need to take out the bumper lights and find the 2 14mm bolts behind each of those. a nice long extension works well there. there are also a couple connectors in the fender-liner on each side that come out pretty easily. after you get all of those, you should be able to just pull the whole assembly off as one piece.
