    Rust repair possibility?!?!?!?

Ok So i was going through the lists on majestic and southbay honda and came acroos this:

    http://www.hondapartscheap.com/south...t=0&quantity=0

Could this be?? Could we FINALLY have a REAL alternative to rust repair?? I am gonna call ym local dealer and see if these are still available or not.

Yes they are 470 per side but IMO they would be WELL worth it!

That's what I bought to fix the passenger side rust on my car. I got the whole quarter, it was almost 500 bucks with my discount from Honda since I work in a body shop. Make sure you buy number 4/8 so you get the whole quarter. It's pretty easy to section through the pillars and rocker. Numbers 2/6 are only the outer skin, and they are cut through the body line. I've used these before on a civic, and it worked ok, but it took so long to weld across that bottom edge without warping the whole panel that it almost was not worth it.

Anyway, check out this link to my body work:

Shows the quarter panel and installation.

idk if u jus want the whole quater panel or jus to fix our cars cancer. But mayb so save u a lot of $, wat I do is take a front fender and cut it up the same size as the rear quater panel and jus weld it on bro no bondo or fiber glass. Maybe that will help if u never knew about that.

I hate to rain on your parade, but these quarters have been around for awhile. Not sure how long of a while, but theyve been around. Just nobody wants to fork out $500+ for each side, but if you want it, go for it.

I got lucky and i have a small spot on the one side, so i still have a long while before i have to worry about replacing it. I know, the sooner the better, but its barely grown in 4 years.

Ok my bad I understand what u mean I jus thought I threw that out there to u since that's a lot of $ to spend on that there. But that's your choice you have the $ to do it. Good luck bro.

well for one thats for a sedan and 2 it is not enough to do what I need on my coupe.

I knew these had been around for a while but like most of the CB parts listed there they may be obsolete when you call to find them, thats why I was asking. Just throwing this up for the coupe owners who are looking to get rid of that rust!

repairmyrust.com seems legit, if not TAS Auto has the same ones. That price is funny @110, on both sites its $45 and like $48 for one, im going to be doing this in the Spring time pick them up, guy on the sides goina cut out/reweld/paint all for $500 CAD siccck deal if you ask me, shops wuld charge me close to $1500-$2000 for the work.
