Aftermarket Tint with Rainx

I am wondering if the Rain-x Fog remover is safe for aftermarket tint. It does say safe for OEM Tint but im not sure if it is safe for aftermarket.

any experiences or info on this would be appreciated!

Did the exact opposite of what it is supposed to do for me.
I followed the directions word for word, but my windows actually got worse.
