    grille gap

how come i have this gap above my grille? The grille im using is the "type R grille", found on www.tasauto.com

my set up is: 91 accord lx, 92 front bumper, 91 headlights (i think), the type R grille is supposed to be a 92-93 style grille.

Taking a look at your members ride thread, looks like you have the 90-91 headlights like you thought.

On the website, they list the grill for 90-93 however it looks to be a 92-93 grill.
If you search around you can find the thread showing closeup's of why they don't interchange very well.

Either change your headlights to 92-93's or do the grill hack on your original 90-91 grill. The later being more cost effective, plus the 9091 grill hacks look better than the 92-93's.

Ya 90-91 headlights + 92-93 grille don't match up well.

but i dont think the headlights will affect the gap above my grille, right?

correct benson, the bumper does that since the 92 bumper has a little upper lip that goes beneath the grill but you already have a 92-93 bumper. It's probably from the poor mold the type-r grill used to make it. Try lowering your hood latch some more and maybe that'll fix your problem.

It's about (3) 10mm screws to lower the latch and adjust to your liking.

but if i did that, wouldnt the hood be out of line with the fenders?

not exactly I moved my hood latch up and down a lot when I went through grills and the fender line stayed almost the same till the end near the headlight depending on if I raised the latch or lowered it.
