stock front bumper question

I was thinking about altering my stock front bumper to make it look different...I got to thinking what would it look like if I cut out the middle part of my front bumper, like that "bar" sort of thing that is in the middle of the "mouth" of the bumper. What do you guys think? Let me know, and if anyone knows of anyone else trying this, let me know or send a pic, that would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance...

dont do it get a lip that will change the look plenty and you wont be kicking yourself in the ass trying to find a different bumper.

Oh believe me, I would love a lip, however funds are tight, I am in school, so I want to do something different...you know...for free! HAHAHA

It is 100% guranteed that it will look like shit. Seen it done a few times and it has NEVER looked good. Save some money and get a lip man.

Hey i am behind u all the way!!! I think of doing that too. if u cut it out try putting a mesh behind it. I try making a lip but it didn't work lol

well do what you like its your car but here is a ebay altenative dont know how good they are but they are reasonably priced usually and they will change the look and get you compliments rather than WTF did you do to your bumper.

my lip(s) have been either $75 or $85 SHIPPED to my door... not expensive at all really...

i bought my mugen style lip off of ebay for $89 and it was worth it it looks good...it is not the best quality (or anywhere near it) but it is worth the money to have it until you can get a good one especially if it`s gonna be awhile like me lol.

i dont like the lower grill cut look...looks like a toothless person smiling at you kinda scarry lol

Well, thanks a bunch for the input guys, I really appreciate it, especially that link to the ebay lip, I may think of picking that up...although $40 in U.S. funds is like $400 in Canadian funds...lol!
