no, the yellow caps are a replacement for the stock bulb holder...so you can either pry out the old bulb holder, or open up the fogs and get to it that way.

I did it by opening the whole thing up...I restored my reflectors while I had them opened and polished up the lense too...all you need to do is pop off the old (stock) bulb holder, and then pop in the new yellow cap, I jb welded mine to the back of the reflector

if you have any more questions just ask

I dont wanna pry them out, don't want to rick the chance of breaking the sides of the fogs.
You said you opened your up, how did you do it, and what will I need?
The bulb holders that are in the fogs now are in perfect condition like it was never used shape. I can put the cap in and still use the factory bulb holder but I have to take the lenses out, so that way sounds better. I don't want to fuk them up though!!

you can open them up the same way you do headlights, either in the oven or use a heat gun...I used a heat gun and had them open in about 30mins.

I found the easiest way was to pop off the old bulb holder and then pop in the new yellow cap, I dont think you can put the cap on the factory bulb holder

the factory bulb holder has three small spot welds that I drilled out and then the it popped off...then I put in the yellow cap and its bulb holder in and jb welded it to the back of the reflector

I suppose you dont have a pic of the three little spot welds you drilled out do you? I dont have a heat gun so if I could avoid taking off the lense since I have to use the other bulb holher now, that would be great. If you dont have a pic can you describe where they are. I'm looking at the fog light bulb holder in the fog light now and dont see where the spot welds are. Do I have to take the lense off to see the welds?

Oh by the way thanks for the help so far!!

put your fogs in the oven for about 10 mins on 225 and remember to preheat and i put mine on a black pan so no grill marks and keep a close eye on them. i blackhoused a 9091 set so i personally did this and figured it out on my own w/o reading anyone elses work.

But yea, hondas spot welds on their lights are kinda weak, prying them apart isn't a challenge
