how do you guys do the offset front plate?

i want it off to the right or the left, whichever looks better. but like under the corner lens.

or, maybe still in the middle area but off to the side (still within the lower grill section).

dunno really, but help is appreciated.

I'd keep it in the middle where it's supposed to be, or take it off completely.

your other choice is to get a true JDM front bumper that has the plate holder sunk in more than the USDM bumper.

I just don't like how it looks.. I'd just leave it and add a tinted cover or something and that should make it look a little better than stock.

Maybe Steve can get some CB7Tuner.com license plate covers made and you could add that!

Fill the current holes and get some aluminum angled metal and drill some holes in your bumper where you would like it.

I made mine just awaiting to do that AND my headlights while I have the bumper off; still striking up the courage for that .

byu changing it to the left or right side wont change the looks that much, if anything it'll look like shit, i would keep it in the middle, i think it would look bad on the right or left side.

                  yes. maple you get +1.

i just want to stand out, i like having little DIY mods that separate me from the 12347903785420584.1 cb7s in the BX/NY area.

is there any way i can avoid making holes in my bumper?? i dont wanna do that.

this is what i did. i just used the lower lic plate holder bracket from a 90-91. it's a Y-shaped bracket that holds onto the lower two holes of the plate (illustration #3). then i used a type of fastener to secure it to the underside of the bumper. it is bolted on the underside bumper flap next to the tow hook.

or you can make your own bracket and secure it the same place. i think the overall effect is achieved. it's not that bad guys! take a look at mine. pardon the brightness of the plate. it reflected due to the flash. good luck br0nx finest!
