Engine cleaning...

Just curious as to what everyone uses to clean their engine and engine bay to get it looking really good. Any comments would be great.

go to ur local automotive store cop some "simple Green" 50/50 mix w/ water in a SPRAY BOTTLE whatever.. and just spray the shit out of ur motor.. . cover up all electrical shit as best u can w/ a bag or something ( i.e. FUSE BOX, ALT, BATTERY, Starter, etc. ) let sit for like 5 mins' or so (( tells u on the back how long )) and then just hose it down w/ a water hose. . . that should get alot of dirt etc off w/ out having to scrub n shit.. but if there are tuff stains the u can use the SIMPLE GREEN straight up on it, w/ a brush or terry cloth, but just make sure to wash it down well.. also becareful not to get it on the paint obviously since it' will stain it up .. .. hope that helps. . .

if u search a little, its in the waxing a detailing area....we coverd alot there...though later we ran off subject but i think it helps lolz.
