I never said I supported fake CF on hoods. Thats just as fucking stupid. True CF hoods are still fine by me, because obviously, weight savings are weight savings. Just an ugly alternative to ripping something out. I still stand by my previous statement.

this topic has been covered in the past. as i understand, vis has yet to make a carbon fiber trunk for the cb7. when you go to vis' website, they don't have the trunk. doesn't make sense for bodykits.com to carry a vis branded product that vis' own website does not have.

www.visracing.com - they don't have a trunk lid for the cb7 in their product list for carbon fiber trunks/hatches. as of now (4/4/4) the only accords they have c/f trunks for are the cd5/5gen, 6gen, and 7gen.

so, as of right now, i don't trust what bodykits.com has to offer.

**question about cf hood**
wouldnt adding a real carbon fiber hood make the front of the car lighter so that it would lose traction to the front drive wheels thus losing power? if yes why would you want a cf for the performance aspect?

but for me before even considering buying id give em a call and ask how they can group a trunk lid for 90-93 when the 90-91's are different and the 92-93 sedans and coupes are also different. then if they seem legit ask for a picture of the trunk in question.

Carbon fiber hoods are stricly fiberglass hoods, over layed with c/f sheet material. Just like when people have stuff laid over with carbon fiber, it's just a glass hood.
