I definitely want one, but don't want that price that comes along w/it. I'm going to see if my wholesaler friend can hook me up, and possibly other people as well. Match my hood well I think as well. hMMmmm...

That would utterly defeat the purpose of getting a cf trunk. In a car with most of the weight up front, why would you take weight out of the back?? Some people confuse me.

that picture was just a representation of what a carbon fiber trunk lid looks like in general.

I know this. And in such a case, the idea would be even stupider. Its been said before, but Ill say it again, carbon fiber is not a color.

Yea...when someone gets a carbon fiber hood, why are they getting it? For the 5# weight difference, or the looks?

                            The looks in most cases.

As you may or may not know, probably every person that has a "Carbon Fiber" hood on this board, actually has a fiberglass hood with one, maybe two layers of cf on top. There not many TRUE FULL Carbon Fiber hoods out there, and especially none for our cars. So really when someone says there buying it for weight savings, thats BS, or they really dont know how their made and they think their getting the real deal.

Like wed3k said, yea it would basically be for looks on my car, and since they dont make the trunk lids like I need, why not just keep the stock lid(which would keep perfect fitament) and use the same process as the CF hoods and just overlay the CF on top.
