need a paint shop in ny.

someone help me, i need a shop in ny with skills. that means, workmanship, and who stands behind their work.

i'm looking to pay under 1500$ for all this work:

-full respray (staying the oem arcadia green).
-rust treatment on the rear wheelwell, along with the new damage in the same area (2 dents and an indentation).
-emblem shaving
-blacking out the window trim (all 4)
-either painting moldings or repair (flat black)
-fixing the dent in the front qtr. panel
-fixing leaky trunk

one place said they'd do all of that but not paint the roof, i was like wtf? because to paint the roof it'll be 200$ more.

..i would recommend T&S in brooklyn who did the all the bodywork on my cb7, but i don't think it'll be less than $1500. respray is one thing, but blacking out the chrome trim is whats gonna push up the price no matter where you go. most shops spray over them, and eventually, the paint chips. T&S pulls the trim off, sandblasts' them, and then go thru their paint rountine. it can run anywhere from $200 and up just for that. honestly, from what you have listed of work to be done, a good, reliable shop to do all that will run you anywhere in the $2000-$3000 range.

really, well if they're work is really great, then i'd be willing to spend 2k.

but that's all i can probably afford. and if its that serious, i'd skip the blackout trim shit, i mean thats something i can live without. lol.

You should be able to get what you want done for $1500 for sure, just look around.

yeah so far i have two places:

d&b auto body
stillwell ave.
bxny
&
some shop where alot of imports be at (tegs, civics, accords)
bronx river ave.
bxny

d&b has been recommended twice. seen they did a little overspray on the window trim, kinda shakey about their work now. but i'll have a word with the owner, see if he can guarantee that this won't happen to mine, etc.

you should try macco on 212-50 jamaica ave they do some good work i can help you with all the little minor stuff like the trims and the leak. your on your own with the rest. Let them take macco slice out the rust . Dont you just hate car cancer

i mean, everyone i meet that has a CB7 is just cooler than the other side of the pillow, they always offer to help and never want to be paid. but i offer help as well... thats wassup, CB7s uniting the world.
