about half of those pictures show spray bottles

Simple Green is the company that makes it. they have a lot of cleaning products, but their flagship product is just called "simple green all-purpose cleaner." this is what people are referring to when they say "simple green." it is a really cool product that is really hard on grease, dirt, and a lot of other things, but is also biodegradable, non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-corrosive (except to aluminum ), and non-flamable. it does the job of a lot of solvents and other cleaning products withoug creating an EPA nightmare.

go to autozone or o'riellys and they will ahve a spray bottle of concentrated simple green for like $5. you pour all but 10% (i believe) of the bottle into another container then fill the spray bottle back up with water, or you can leave it concentrated.

edit: i said that it was corrosive to aluminum, but all it does on an automotive scale is turn bare aluminum a slight chalky-white. it does nasty things to aluminum at the molecular level so it isnt allowed for use on aircraft, but it wont do anything major or dangerous to your car.

          Buy the big concentrated bottle.
Dilute it with water in a spray bottle.
          Enjoy.

it's the same product, just more is in one container than the other. you can get the spray bottle from a lot of places; walmart, oreilly's, autozone, etc.

Get the gallon jug from Home Depot or somewhere then mix your own in individual spray bottles of different dilutions.

You can either use it in concentrated form, or dilute - either way, you'll have great results.

Simple Green works only to an extent. It's not an extremely strong cleaner (hence the earth friendly nature of the product). If you use it on the engine, it'll get off a lot of dirt, but you'll still have to scrub the hard stuff by hand or use a harder cleaner.
