Why stir up this shit in the first place? There will be no conclusive answer either way... all your gonna find out is that some people like one style better than the other and some aren't tolerant of the one they don't like and some are cool about it....

Pick your path and go with it... don't look for approval from others if it's what you like...you'll have no regrets in the end that way...
couldnt have said it any better...well put...

I really don't think he was trying to "stir up shit".. just wanted to see where people's preferences were at.. obviously there's no right or wrong answer.. to think that there is would be stupid.. what's wrong with posting a thread asking people where they stand on a question like this.. if the thread is going to go to shit it's because people take questions like this too personally.. I like both styles.. both can make or break the car..

ive had it both ways..i can tell you that when you have a kit you gotta be more cautious...i cracked my kit twice...one time i hit a blown tire on the freeway at night and the time i hit a cone...nothing i could do about it...after a while i got tired of the kitted look, so i went back to stock...

i see what ur saying. last yr i had a pair of black widow sides on my car i hit a vcr and it shattered my side skirt. i didnt care, i just let it be bought the xexon sides. i wasnt cautious. i knew that in a few days i was gonna buy a new set anyway. my point being that you can have the best of worlds, either its a lil lip kit like mine or a simple front lip like 93akkord or a full body kit like custom lowz they all look good.

i wasnt trying to stir shit i was just asking people what they prefer. about 60%percent on this website got the clean(jdm style)cars and the other 40% have the kitted look.i really dont think that this thread is going to end if people dont take shit too the heart. thats my opinion.

huh...i wasnt trying to say anything..i was just saying that with a kit you gotta deal with paint chips also...besides having to drive more cautiously...

..i definetely agree with that. i'm very meticulous about my car, so i had my bumpers repainted during the CC2 conversion, since the cb7 is black and shows paint chips and scratches easily.

..but kitted vs. clean, its all about personal choice, and sometimes you fall in between both, kitted and clean.

Some jdm stuff looks clean, but i feel that a lot of people go the jdm way because it's popular these days. I like some aspects of the JDM parts, but like someone else said, it's just stock to stock.

Kitted cars look nice if they are well taken care of. If they aren't, they look terrible. Personally, I wouldn't kit a car unless it had the engine power to back it up on the street. Hence, if you have a kit on a stock car, it kind of defeats the whole purpose. If it was turboed then it would be alright.

I like my stock cb7 the way it is. If I do anything to it, it will be a custom job to my exact tastes, not from something someone else created.
