2.I could work on a setup like that. Would it be best to do this as a cat-back with a mating flange to the original cat? Or all the way to the header with the smaller flange there? If we do all the way to the header would you like to see a 3" cat included?
im all for this one right here. that would be nice
2. a true 3" cat-back thats matted to a factory flange to the original cat. with a flange like this. thats also compatible for a universal muffer?

Currently I have a bastard of an exhaust setup. 1/2 Tsudo 1/2 Apexi WS due to an accident. My bottleneck is at the Apexi WS 2.38 section. I'm going to be getting a custom header made in the longrun either SMSP or SSR and it will be made with a 3inch collector.
That said the collector must mate to a 3inch inlet aftermarket Catalytic converter so the whole setup stays 3inch all the way through. I'm trying to picture what you are describing but wouldn't a smaller flange hurt performance if it's designed to fit a OEM original cat? I think the original cats inlet is like 2". When I attempted to BAR my car, I noticed a huge loss with the OEM cat and when I swapped back to a 2.5 I noticed a night and day difference.
Depending on the price a 3" cat included will be cool, but alot of power hungry people that will be using these setups might be throwing on test pipes or gutting the cat in the longrun. I blown 4cats total so far including the 2.5 magnaflow which I didn't have for even 4months....Ceramic cats lifespan suck when driven hard on JDM h22s.
If you will be including the cat along with the system, maybe it would be cool if u made that an option! It would be cool if u can flange the cats to be hot swappable so it can be taken off and on for track use or to keep for only smog sessions so it would last
Please go through with the exhaust! I'm absolutely positive this will do good as there are lots of Turbo F22/H22 and all motor N/A guys on this board that could use this.

I could always get in contact with Chargespeed and see if they are interested. Who made the G-square grill? Anyone have a link to their japanese site?
Chargespeed I doubt they would like a replica made of their product. They actually found out a member was replicating it on this site and actually e-mailed with a warning. They probably wouldn't mind another USA distributor of their product but I think most people are looking to buy a budget cheap alternative rather than spending 300+ for a real deal.
People here seem to like E-bay $50-$80 dollar like plastic Type-R grille like deals.
G-square or what is now G-Corporation, probably wouldn't go that far as legal issues because the 90-93 accord is basically a blip on their radar as far as their products for the CB line go. I just checked their website and it doesn't seem like it's a supported platform by them anymore and the most oldest accord they support is the 94up bodies.
G-square already has copies and very similar grilles by other companies anyways by Varns, WiseSquare, EastBear and Blizz to name a few.

They have a English page but it's not really a english site at all although there is a inquiry page there. If you need me to translate something in Japanese for u to send them let me know.

The fiberglass and urethane Buddyclub style kits out right now do not look like the OEM style VIS produced. They look more aggressive and they deleted the stock OEM mouldings and flared out the bottom skirts of the kit which makes it look ugly.
Anyways this is some other ideas I've had in mind that I would like to see for the CB7.
I wouldn't mind a traction bar system compatible for us ABS guys. One was made by ESP but it was only for non-ABS cars and it doesn't seem like they want to produce one as we've been bugging them but no response about production in the thread.
Another thing I would like to see is a aftermarket front dogbone mount similar to the ESP one used on their traction bar system. That mount will definitely help clear some issues people have with JDM h22a headers with bigger primaries and Turbo systems since most members delete the mount all together to help clearance but the con is the motor jumps around which stresses the other mounts. I only have like 1-2mm of clearance with my JDM Feel's header.
MORE CARBON PARTS!
Full carbon Fiber door panels or inserts.
I think these would look hot on a show car or for a daily driver I think maybe just the "inserts" in carbon fiber would be nice so it would be harder to mess up during everyday use. By inserts I mean just the section where the cloth or leather near the door armrests would be.
Carbon Fiber Armrest lid for 90-91 or JDM 92-93 USDM/wagon optional armrest.
Carbon Fiber OEM Fenders
^These were made before but were discontinued due to lack of interest and price since the JDM faze hasn't hit just yet. But now everyone wants them OEM as only F1 style or Z3s are only available in carbon at the moment.
Carbon Fiber Moonroof
I've seen one of these for the 92-96 preludes and thought this was a good idea to save weight. If you don't have a DX or LX accord, the moonroof adds lots of weight for the people that like to race the EX, SE's etc. that have them equipped. Deleting the glass altogether but still making the moonroof functional would be nice.Last edited by Warudakumi; 10-09-2008, 06:14 PM.

wow that is a lot of input
With the exhaust I am trying to figure out how/where you would want it to end. People are going to want it to be bolt on so at the front end I will need to put a flange somewhere. I can't just leave it as 3" pipe with nothing.
I was under the impression that chargespeed no longer produced the 90-93 grill. It isn't on their website and people here were telling me it was gone. In a situation such as this we would contact that company and ask to buy the tooling that they used to produce the grille. We obviously couldn't sell it as a Chargespeed grill and would have to market it differently. Another option is to ask them to do a limited production run of them just for us. The same situation applies to G-Square.
A custom bumper like that would be difficult and I would rather just do a add on diffuser
I thought ESP had taken care of the traction bar issue. We distribute for them now so I can ask.
An engine torque mount isn't a bad idea.
I currently don't have a carbon fiber molder but I could look into find a supplier interested in doing some stuff. I like the door inserts and arm rest but the other pieces seem like they wouldn't justify the R&D expense.

The tas exhaust you have currently listed on your website would be perfect in 3inch form.
If people chose to use a different muffler, u can end the axle portion maybe where the center of the rear wheel? I'll take pictures on my weekend to clarify this more...but basically most aftermarket universal weld on mufflers come with maybe 4--6in of straight tube to work with on them to mate to a custom exhaust. This is where a DIY one could end if no muffler is provided. The hangers you can basically leave in their stock OEM locations.
It would also be nice if the setup hugs the underside of the chassis like the Tsudo setup. This was a flaw for certain cb7 catback systems like the apexi ws because it didn't give as much clearance for speed bumps and resulted in flattened resonators even if the car doesn't have a major drop.Last edited by Warudakumi; 10-12-2008, 05:45 PM.

You wouldn't need to stock a huge quantity of them. Just a few. I am a person who would fork over the money for something that Is made for the car and swap.
Such as the charge pipings and intercoolers. A direct fitting and no cutting or modifying different pieces to work. A custom turbo setup is not hard to build. Finding the right pieces is the pain of building a custom setup.
