Bisi, it still says "May is header month" on your website!

I know quality takes time... no rush. I'm just wondering when things will be ready! I'm repairing or replacing my head very soon, and the next thing I plan on buying is a Bisimoto header!

Ralphie, $600 IS cheap! SMSP and RMF headers for the H22 are upwards of $1000. I have no doubt that Bisi's headers will make comparable power.

Granted, there are really no popular F22 headers with that steep of a price, but then again, there are also probably no F22 headers that will make as much power! There really aren't any companies that take the F22A seriously besides Bisimoto.

I've heard good and bad... They won't compare to the Bisimoto pieces, though. I'm sure little to no R&D went into the Kamikaze headers for the F22 (that's just my opinion, since I know next to nothing about them... but I'm confident that it's fairly accurate anyway)

One of the resons for people getting cheap F22A headers is that there haven't been any really good ones available in the past. Bisimoto is probably the only company to produce a truly worthwhile F22A header... and may remain as such. Sadly, I don't see many companies jumping on the F22A bandwagon. It's a fantastic motor, but it's old. Companies go with the trends to make their money. Bisi actually USES the F22A, so the development is based on his own needs first, and then we reap the benefits of it As long as CB7tuner.com is strong, Bisimoto will have a market!

The H22 headers that are truly worth owning are usually upwards of $1000. When you can buy an H22 for that price, that's pretty steep! Bisi says that his H and F series headers will be priced around $600, so if that holds true, high-quality headers will be availible to people on a 15-year-old-car budget. $600 still isn't "cheap", but in comparison to the cost of the other quality ones, or the cost of the not-great ones (DC Sports), it's VERY reasonable.

Once my CB7 is back on the road (should be very soon), the Bisimoto H22 street header is what I plan to buy next. My wife is just going to have to deal

I hope Bisi doesn't get upset w/ me about this, but I emailed him last week sometime and he told me that it will probably be sometime in July when the headers will be in production. Hope this helps some of you w/ your plans as you anxiously await! I can't wait for this

                  It's a new design... I expect delays.

Thankfully I have plenty of things to do, and a bit of saving as well... so I'm in no rush! If it takes until December to make the design as perfect as possible, so be it. If I'm going to drop a fair chunk of change on a bolt-on piece, I want it to be the best it can be! I know Bisi won't release anything that he's not satisfied with, though. His own car is a perfect illustration to his attention to detail.

DEEV i undersatand this GUY here is all about RACING and a 4-1 header.

but wats so DIFF about his 4-1 compared to the kamakazie 4-1
cuz i want to get a 4-1 on a stock motor . and u think it will b less powerful with a intake and exhuast. most my power is mid range rite now but wont a 4-1 help with mid range and redline.

If you're looking for updates on the F22ax Bisimoto header and its debut, keep an eye on my white project Accord thread (in my sig link). I will have the first one and will post photos as usual, also making note that it came in. Bisi has been in process with mine already and it should be done in June.

Keep in mind he just started doing his business full-time and based on his reputation/quality I think he's got more business than he bargained for. Heck, he now has a receptionist to answer his calls and take care of the simpler stuff, keeping things organized.

Just keep in mind, good things take time and when you're starting out a business it takes a bit to get organized and make enough money to help your company grow and flow smoothly. This being said, do not be annoying, you're just making yourself look bad and this forum. How you act has a direct affect on how you're treated.

The Bisimoto header will be a well-engineered piece. The Kamakazie header is most likely a generic design using basic airflow models. It is a free flowing design compared to the stock setup, and probably better than most cheapie headers you'll find, but I seriously doubt it'll make anywhere near the power the Bisimoto header will make. There's more to a header design than simply letting the exhaust gasses escape. Scavenging effects, minimal turbulance, maximal velocity, and even sound waves play a part in the quality of a design.

And Cisco, I couldn't agree more!
Bisimoto is not Apexi. Bisimoto is not AEM. Bisimoto is a small company, resting mainly on the efforts of one man. Bisi is NOT the type of person to release anything he wouldn't put on his own car (which makes sense... the designs are for his own purposes before they are made public). If things take a while, so be it. Don't be annoying! Feel free to eagerly await the release of the headers (as I am), but be aware that it may take longer than expected! If you want crappy quality NOW, go elsewhere. If you want the best header you'll ever find for the F22A, stick it out and be supportive of the man that has put so much effort into making the F22 a competitive platform! I assure you, you will NOT find another F22A header that will make this much power... and for around $600, it's practically a gift!

D and 'Cisco, you are correct. It takes alot of money, research and patience to make these designs the way they should be. A few features that my F bretheren will enjoy:

*True merge collectors (not the crappy press collectors that every company tries to shove down our throats)

                              * Stainless steel (polished) with optional ceramic coating

                              * Large collectors, with built in venturis (my signature special..hence tons of power)...the most expensive part of this build.

                              * Custom units designed for your engine...not one size fits all!

*Data backed by hours and hours of dyno testing...more than any company would ever spend on Honda header development

My pain is your gain, but if I was really business saavy, I would retail these units for $1800...I am here to help...not take advantage of my peers. Trust me, when my materials come in, I will have a CB7 special...only for CB7 Members!!!!
