what i want to know is how long to the 'performance' springs last.

well, you cant expect to build a performance motor, race the shit out of it and have it last like a stock motor.

it also comes down to how much you are pushing out and how much are you willing to take the head off.

we help build a big block chevy that was blown and within a couple months the valve springs already lost 20 pounds on the seat. granted, these were 350lbs on the seat and 950 lbs at .500 lift.

so with that being said, whats your application and what are you racing?

well, stock you wont need a dual spring setup...if you are going to be running an aftermarket cam, a stronger spring will defintely help.

but then again if it isnt anything oem or oem replacement it doesnt classify for stock.

i am bumping this for zigg...i would like to know if he has h23/f22b/f20a dohc cams available. or pricing. im sure he can do them, but i would like a price. i like the broader powerband that bisi has compared to the peak powerband/generic grind delta offers. i know bisi grinds are more specific. looking for a stage 2 cam set roughly 272's so i can run stock valvetrain for now. thanks.

^^^^hey!!!!! thanks for no help...i appreciate your concern, maybe if YOU actually did check the site, you would see he doesnt have twin cam non vtec prices/cams listed. but hey, you tried. i know all his products like the back of my hand on his website. thanks for nothing though.

Yea, i don't know what your problem is. Instead of asking in this thread, why don't you or zigg give him a call.......or send him an email......or send him a PM. That would be the logical thing to do, considering that his phone number and email address are on that site that you say you know so well.

again thanks. i sent him a pm on the 30th of June with no reply. i am also 100% positive i also sent him an email through his actual website on the contact us link. i know he is a busy guy with the race season and his builds, so really i understand him not getting back with me. i all ready have my cams sitting in my garage to send out, so by the end of august they will be sent to delta, since i havent heard from him.

I was browsing your website the other day, as I just got my F20a DOHC running. I am looking for some Cam upgrades. I dont want to run Delta cams due to them being a more generic regrind. I know you guys do a more specific type grind on your cams. The F20A DOHC has the same cams as the H23. These are both Non-VTEC. I was looking at a 272 type regrind, which I guess would be considered your level 2. Im not planning on upgrading valvetrain so I should be fine with level 2. I am also interested in your cam gears, so I was planning on buying it sort of as a package deal. I have the price of your cam gears from the site. The only thing is you dont advertise a price for the H23, F20A DOHC, or the F22B DOHC. I was wondering if you made cams for these?

Also an idea to help you, not sure if you actually make the intake manifold gaskets yourself the phenolic ones. If you do have you considered making the ones that go for the IAB plates? Maybe you can sell them as a package deal? I dont know, just an idea.

He has been on since the 30th of June, I know he is a busy guy with the race season and all, but I am not the typical noob that comes on here asking all kinds of questions without searching or doing prior research.

he sells a turbo cam for the f22, and i think the h22. so yeh, ill take some h23/f20/22 DOHC non Vtec turbo cams. ahh well.
