Can you send me this same PM Julio? I also want to know what the difference is between the F20A and F20B. I am interested in F20A SOHC rods and pistons for medium-high compression turbo. 9.5-10.5:1 range. Thanks.

I had mentioned to kindly submit a F20A rod for inspection to see compatibility vs a F20B rod.

The bearing surface of the f20b is smaller than the f20a

Are you sure about this? Do you mean width or diameter? Do you know the numbers? What's your source?

relying on hear say from the forum is not the proper way to determine specifications. Precision measuring of the rod will determine actual specification.

But what good are those dimensions when they are not shared?

Actually, I know the answer to that.

And I have a question on pricing. You say that custom aluminum rods start at $749 but the F20B rods are $799. Can I not just have a set of F20B rods made for $749? Also, should you measure the F20A rod and it happen to be the same, dimensionally, as the F20B would that make the price for them $799 or would it still be $849?

Machining of aluminum is much more cost effective compared to steel and is the reason for the price difference.

When manufacturing a set of rods that are different specification than what is currently on file, pricing for a set of 4 steel rods is $849, however if they do hold the same dimensions of the current F20B rods price would be $799.

If you are seriously inquiring to have a custom set of rods made for your application, kindly give us a call at 888-922-6686. We are not here to waste anyone time. Thanks

I can have a custom manufactured piston with your choice of bore and compression, along with the Bisimoto H-beam rods for $989 shipped to the Continental USA.

Yes this is old but calling with questions about availability and info I have not been able to get in touch with anyone. I hope they aren't simply h22 length rods as 1.5mm is a rather insignificant difference. And if they were simply 30mm pistons such as the f23 then that would be coming out of the hole an entire millimeter I believe. Then if you have decked or milled anything on top of that...
