They do mind. I asked a while back and Julio wouldn't tell me. Apparently you're not allowed to know the specs of the engine you build. My guess is that it's just an H22A rod with an shorter piston.

I'm all for companies developing on the F-series engine but it seriously upset me that they would not disclose engine component dimensional information.

a h22 eagle h beam is lighter than any f/h rod
also with the longer rod, rod/stroke ratio is improved, also going with a 30mm piston means a lighter piston too

im pretty sure bisi figured that making a f22 only rod gets expensive soo, going with a h22 rod, benefits everyone

this is true, on my corrado is was cheaper to go with a scirocco rod which was half the price and get a lighter custom forged piston.

Thank you everyone for the discussion regarding Bisimoto's F22A/B long rod with forged piston combo. This setup has been proven on our own projects and 100's of other's world wide!

Bisimoto designed this package for the F22 community to be cost effective, with the highest of quality to support extreme cylinder pressures, whether you are building a force induction, nitrous or even rebuilding your factory engine for a bump in displacement, compression and reliability.

With pricing of only $779.99 including FREE shipping to the Continental USA, this package can not be acquired anywhere else for a better price.

These Bisimoto custom 9:1c/r, 86mm bore piston kits can accommodate up to 3mm oversize valves and strategically lightened to provide optimal weight savings without compromising strength integrity. With CNC machined working surfaces, optimized crowns for efficient combustion and Diamond-turned ellipsoidal skirt profile.

Bisimoto custom steel rods are manufactured from the very best aircraft quality 4340 steel. Using Autocad 14 technology, the Bisimoto Spec. rods are lightweight without sacrifice of strength. Feature 3/8" diameter ARP bolts and have been tested to over 800 HP on a proper tune and supporting parts.

The rod length is propitiatory information to Bisimoto, however the length does range during time of manufacturing and will be partnered with a custom piston for proper height installation. All Bisimoto pistons will included specification sheet including all needed information for block machining and clearances for instillation.

For our very serious race enthusiast, Bisimoto can design custom rods and pistons to your specifications as well.

                    Pricing:
                    Bisimoto custom steel rods: $849
Bisimoto custom full race aluminum rods: $749
Bisimoto custom forged aluminum pistons starting at $649 and up

For more information on custom services, kindly give us a call at 888-922-6686 or email sales@bisimoto.com.

Does Bisimoto have off-the shelf rods for the f20a or f20b? Or would those have to be custom rods?
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

We do offer F20B (DOHC VTEC) rods for $799. For custom rods for SOHC F20A pricing would start at $849.

What's the difference between an aftermarket F20A and F20B rod?
