Bisimoto Spec ATI Engine Damper H22/F22/F23

The patented Bisimoto spec ATI Super DamperŪ is the only harmonic damper designed exclusively for high performance F22a, F22b, F18a, F20a SOHC-series engines. The proven elastomer design is actually two dampers in one: an inner and outer damper in two shells that bolt to the crank hub.

Any Dyno sheets to be posted to support your gain claims ??? ( its Bisi so i know for a FACT much D&R has been done on this but this thread is where all that info belongs. )

I am not sure of the hp numbers, but getting a good damper is a must if you want a high revving engine to last.

The fluid damper pulley was on my list, but I don't think it has the street version available for power steering and ac. I am running both, so this is a great option.

If I remember right, the standard damper units are around 300, but they may have gone up in price since I last looked at them. I am willing to spend a little more money on one that lets me keep my dd comfortable.

Yes Bisi has always had one on his Insight as well one on the Castro F22 build he had done. I personally run them as well on all my high hp builds.

We personally will not run a high hp/rpm motor with out one due to the fact that the crank shaft or oil pump can fail and cause major engine failure. The reason why it creates more power is due to the fact it will keep the crank from twisting back and forth due to harmonics while spinning at high rpms which will give solid and consistent timing for both cam and ignition which will show a very good amount of HP gains especially on a high hp turbo motor

Yes you are correct you would expect much more power increase from a high hp turbo application. Other than hp gain the biggest advantage of a proper damper is the fact that it will greatly reduce the risk of damaging the short block due to harmonics at high rpm which can destroy bearings, oil pump gears or even worse yet snap a crankshaft

It will benefit any motor setup. Like I mentioned before biggest benefit will be it will keep harmful harmonic vibrations under control to prevent damages to the bottom end and will pick up hp even on low hp setups

Lol your getting my words all twisted up. Bisi has a strong relationship with ATI and has work side by side with there engineers to help develop the D-series. So yes they will be Bisi Spec

Late, but...

Maybe this image will help show what it actually looks like on our engines. The damper replaces the stock crank pulley with a pulley containing rubber between the pulley surface and where the pulley bolts to the stock pulley's hub (that white section, I'm guessing). The rubber absorbs harmonic vibrations, therefore reducing wear on anything connected to the crankshaft.
