What Type of Tires are you using?

I'm curious to see what other peeps are rolling on?
I just installed new Bridgestone Potenza and wow! big difference from the old Faulken Ziex tires it had. there's more steering feedback and less body roll. These Bridgestones have some stiff sidewalls, I love them!

im running on an older set of Toyo Proxies TPT's..i think they are the all season proxies. either way, i hate them. the rubber is so rock hard my front tires slide with ease if i take a corner too quick..not to mention from a dead stop, i get horrible traction trying to take off in any sort of "quick" manor.

Rolling on brand new Nexen N2000 performance all seasons. I would not run these any later than October however as they perform more like a summer tire. They are 205/55/R15 and V rated.

Excellent wet and dry weather grip so far. No complaints at all other than minor road noise. Faulken ZIEX are quieter but I think these have a slightly stiffer sidewall.

I have a pretty stiff suspention set up so keeping some tire sidewall is important for comfort reasons thus why I run 15's. Took a corner all out the other day with a friend and scared the shyt out of him.

Falken Azenis...love them. Not great in wet though, but manageable. With Texas heat thou, they work flawlessly

Barum Bravuris II by Continental. They were cheap at DiscountTire but they made a surprisingly HUGE difference in my launch and in my cornering. I was running Potenza G009s and I could roast them all the way through first gear. They would even break loose in first gear around 4k at WOT on certain dry pavements. I can get the new ones to break loose on launch, but only for a few revolutions, then they hook and go.

I'm the dumbass with diff tires on front and back duh. Got the Falken Ziex on the rear. I'm not all that impressed with them. They are a bit better than the tires I had before, at least for the way I drive, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, just happened to be what was in stock in my size, and I NEEDED two tires badly.

On the front I've got a set of Nankang NS1. I like the way they handle, but they are useless on anything but a dry, clean road.

I have Kuhmo Ecstas or however you spell it. They are
all around great tires! I've always used them on 9 out of 10
cars that I have owned. Great great tires in any weather
              condition.

I have a set of BFGoodrich Touring T/A and a set of Goodyear Eagle GT's. The BFGoodrich tires have far better tread life and better traction. I have ran a 17.7 second 1/4 mile ET at the track with those and with the Goodyear tires I haven't seen a time better than 18 seconds. Though the Goodyear tires do seem to perform better in cornering and in the rain. I have put less than 12,000 miles on the Goodyear tires and they already have low tread depth. I have put quite a bit more miles on the BFGoodrich tires and they still have more tread depth left.

i had barum bravuris and they were awsome on my nissan, just wanted to share.

Right now i'm rolling on Khumo ecstas, they are good for a all season type of tire. handles cornering very well, looks exotic to me but i would'nt buy that kind of tire again since i've already bought two sets.

I remember giving you shit for that. Mine are 205/50/16 Continental ExtremeContact DWS. A very highly rated all season tire. Supposed to be awesome in the snow, so far awesome in the rain and everything else.

245-40-17 nitto invo, i love these tires handling is amazing wet and dry. great responsiveness and had amazing stopping power in the rain .
when taking a corner in the rain you can have a lot of confidence b/c you can feel when they are about to break loose. if they do break loose then it is still completely controllable.

Right now I'm running Neo Gen's 225-40-18's with about 3K on them. On 08/14/10 I put over 700 miles on them for a CB7 meet with a front tire having a average tire pressure between 15-20lbs due to the bead not holding because of a bent wheel. I made it home so I'm really happy with the Nitto's side wall strength. Nitto claims that Neo Gen's are made for cars with a negative camber and these seem to be holding up well considering I put over 600 miles a week on my CB.
