got questions?? whats size is the stock throttle body...on the h22a and i see there are many sizes ie. 65mm 68mm 70mm.....what is the perfect one to go with and what does it mean

There is no perfect one. If you want to get a larger throttle body, get one that works with your setup. If you don't know what works, then you're probably not at a point in your build where it's necessary.

Im not sure the actual sizes, but Honda has a marking system on the intake.
Written on the Upper plenum of the H23/H22 is a marking.
It reads HF#
The HF# is the size of the plenum/throttle body
From what I remember the lower the HF# is the larger the TB is.
A member discovered this when he replaced his engine.

I think my JDM H22 is a HF3 and USDM is HF4

The TB and intake system is designed to compliment the engine/transmission it came with.
If you get an Automatic engine, it will have things more engineered for torque.

I have a SKUNK 2 Intake manifold and the inlet is only 66mm for my H22a. So I bought a BLOX 66mm throttle body to match. The only problem I found was finding a 66mm gasket but, the stock one works fine with it.

62mm tapered to 60mm I believe.
