OH hells yeah, man i miss the rugrats......on a side note peeps usually get hurt by the truth and i should stop smack talking but hey, there is a bunch of un-educated people that can quite compensate what is what and get pissed because they dont understand.....AND well there is also people who get flamed because of a general question. The rep system, IMO, should be, and should've been, used for vouching for someone. "Good Seller/Bad Seller". That sort of thing.

I could see using to +1 someone for a funny post or whatnot, but when someone does something you dont like, it just starts getting retarded. "You're dumb and i dont like you or what you said. -1"

I don't even know how to read the reps, I have one green box rep and one blue box rep, no idea what the difference between them is. I have 11 points but no idea how those are calculated. I also didn't know how to view reps until this thread and I searched around for it, haha.

I don't use reps either. I usually judge a member's advise based on these three together: post count, join date, and proper grammar usage. It's not always perfect but is pretty accurate most of the time.

If means the member has no ability to influence your reputation one way or another. Usually new members (I think anyone with a negative rep status also can't influence it). If they don't leave a comment, you really won't know if it's positive or negative. I get them all the time from noobs... I assume it's positive based on the context of my posts that they're repping on.
