You're absolutely wrong. I do have the capability to offer a lot to this site. I've got skills, I've got experience. I got contacts. I got tools, and I've got a bachelors in mechanical engineering. I've been involved in more forums that you've been involved in.

But, since this site wishes to have rules this asinine, I have nothing that I WANT to offer this website. There's an enormous difference.

XDA developers doesn't even have rules this stupid.

Not sure why I'm not receiving forum reply notifications

I'm pretty sure I setup my profile on this site to receive them instantaneously in my personal email, yet the only messages I've ever gotten was when I first made my account and activated it. I also made sure to check my spam folder and whatnot, but there was nothing there. Is there something I'm missing?

Email notifications are disabled for bandwidth reasons. You can see recent replies to threads you created or posted in on your user control panel. Top left of your screeen.

I can't speak for the guys that run the background stuff of the site, but probably not. We've experienced some pretty severe losses of data and other bad things by just existing or trying to upgrade small things.
