ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    tranny codes and gearing differences

what are the differences between these transmissions? Really curious about the ones that are for the same/similar engine.

    H2A5 - manual (2/4 door DX/LX Accord F22A1/F22A4)
    H2U4 - manual (5 door wagon Accord)
    H2U5 - munual (2/4 door EX/SE Accord F22A6)

These all fit the f22 series engine correct? Is it just gearing? What are the gearing differences?

    M2A4 – JDM H22A tranny non-LSD.
    M2F4 - USDM H22A1 tranny.
    M2YA – USDM H22A4 tranny.
M2U4 - USDM Type SH tranny

These are all for the h series engine, again, gearing differences yes? What are they?

    M2S4 - USDM H23A1 tranny/possibly also JDM f22b tranny as well.
this of course is listed as the h23 tranny...gearing?

    M2B4 – JDM H22A tranny LSD Equipped.
    T2T4 - JDM Accord SiR-T 5spd LSD Equipped (F20B).
    T2W4 - Accord Euro-R LSD Equipped (Japan)
U2Q7- Accord Type-R LSD Equipped. (Europe)
These are all the listed LSD trannies. I can see that the T2T4 is of course for a different engine...what engines are the same here in this part of the list? And agan....what is the gearing on these.

    Any one know?

    only thing i know is:

f22 is for daily driving - long gears
h23 is for daily driving and race - in between
h22 is for race - shorted gears

lsd is limited slip differential. that means when you drop the clutch, both tires spin.
