ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Where can I buy a 3inch CAI?

I bought this one off ebay that was advertised as 3 inches http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TODAY.m238.lVI
and it ended up being 2.5 inches. The guy stopped answering my emails and messages and hasent returned my money yet. So does anyone have a 3 inch CAI for the accord or prelude and know the seller it was from on ebay? Or know of any other places to get one? Thanks

ahh man shoulda done some more research on the seller first...confirm this and that like 5 times...and of course read all the details clearly of what you're getting...if the seller ripped ya...im thinkin he kinda did. Then IDK...most likely the best choice to get a 3" is to get the big brand names OR...like i did..luckily...found a 3" at autozone one day for a civic.

Most aftermarket accord intakes are 2.5 in piping..

YEah like said above get one from a prelude.

                file a dispute with paypal

                "item is not as described"

take a picture of the piping with a ruler and i'm sure paypal will reimburse you, cruddy part is, you would have to mail it back out of your own pocket.

Yea im gonna give him another chance to answer me but if not then thats what im gonna do. So basically any Prelude intake should be 3inch piping? I was looking at these (Im gonna put an AEM or K&N filter on of course)
                  Intake 1
                  Intake 2
                  Intake3

Do you guys think these have 3 inch piping?

I dont see why your complaining about a 2 1/2... I see no difference perforamance wise.. You would be better off sticking with that, and just save for another, sell that one for the same ammount you paid.

On a bolt on f22a1, yea I doubt you will see any performance. But I am going to be running a built h22a with a 68mm or 70 mm tb.

                      2.5 inch intake= 63.5 mm.
                      3 inch intake = 76.2 mm.

Yeah, ok i see where your comin from now. Even though a 3 inch may be better.. you may only see 1-2 HP more... is it REALLY worth the money at that point? :\
