ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

cliffs notes: (if you want more detailed info, search in the DIY section)
to get the cluster out, you need to take the entire black trim out of the car. That is the black piece from your leftmost vent all the way to the cig. lighter. Remove all the vents, buttons, and screws (about ten of them, mostly all are hidden).

Once you get that off, there will be 4 screws holding the cluster, and 3 harness plugs behind it.

take off the plastic clear cover of the cluster
remove bezel. install new gauges OVER the stock ones. Slide them over the needles, do not try and remove the needles.
If you want, you can add some tape or glue to hold the new gauges down so the needles dont hit them and stick during acceleration, etc.
    install your cf bezel
run your wires behind and tap into a 12v source (i used the dimmer switch near the cluster)
    reassemble

mine didnt. i used a tiny bit of super glue and the needles still cleared easily
and make sure you dont move the gas gauge needle until you REMEMBER WHERE THE NEEDLE WAS WHEN YOU STARTED

DO NOT REMOVE THE NEEDLES!!!! YOU WILL FU*K IT UP!!!!!

YOU SLIDE THEM IN ON TOP OF THE OLD ONE'S!!!

YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE ALL THE SCREWS FROM THE DASH.
            ITS ABOUT 13 SCREWS

            4 FOR THE DASH

IF YOU HAVE A 92 -93 MAKE SURE YOU TAKE OUT THE STEERING WHEEL TOP COVER SO YOU DON'T SCRATCH IT UP!!!

AFTER DOING ALL OF THAT MAKE YOU YOU TAKE OUT ALL 3 CLIPS TO THE CLUSTER, THE TOP ONE IS KINDA A BITCH!!
