ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Narrower tires as in 6.5 inches wide compared to 7 inches, or a 50 series compared to a 55 series? Why would you want to do that, just wondering. Also I'm running a 60 or a 65 series, and I think its a 7 inch wide tire.

Your stock tire size will be printed on the label in your driver's side door jamb. Most CB7's come with a 195/60R15 tire stock. It is possible to fit a 185/65R15, which is roughly the same height and a bit narrower.

as for the question asked what are some tires that people are running im trying out some kumho ast 225/50/15 and so far i like um see ive been a fan of cheap and functional for a bit and i always rolled my avs es 100's but Yokohama discontinued them so im trying these cuz a friend up a discount tire recommended them and gave me a baller ass discount ive only been on the tires for a week and a half now so no real feedback but they seem to do decent in wet and pretty good in dry but also i switched from195 to 225 so i added a lil over an inch so traction is def gonna be better

I'm running on 195/60R/15 (stock). They get the job don't look so bad either, i'm waiting to get wider wheels (hopefully slipstreams) to get 205/55/15.
