Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    h23 bolts..

    Ok so I got my H23 head today for my swap and I need to know a place where I can get the bolts and stuff for my VC. I need to get it bolted down but I didn't get any of the screws with it. I know I could try my local JY but it doesn't have any Ludes and I don't know if the ones off of the F22 are the same. Any clarification at all would help.. Thx!

        i tried and they don't fit... didnt get to grab the others i needed tho cuz i didn't have the wrench... I also need to know where I can get the ones for the caps on the cams... i-1, i-2, etc.

          go to honda they are cheap enough and no reason to use old busted bolts go with new ones

              If you buy the bolts brandy new from Majestic, it's around 75 bux shipped. If you want brandy new ones.

                talk about a rip off but if you cannot find them from a junk yard than you pretty much be better off buying another h23 head complete.

                75 bucks in just bolts is just insane.

                  Dont ever re-use bolts... They are made to be used once, if you take off the head, and reuse head bolts, you risk breaking the bolt sheer off the head... Replace them always. The head bolts stretch, and are required to be torqued down, when torqued, they stretch to a specific strength.. If using botls over and over and over, they will eventually either warp the head, crack it, or break the bolt, you never know how many times the head was previously taken off.

                    except we are talking about cam bolts.

                    you also can re-use head bolts if they meet the specs via stretch guage.

                      i was going to get them... but after the look up and search... its basically 3/4 the price of what i paid for my head... i'm not paying that much for some nuts and bolts. thats just insane like you said.

                      Anybody got any laying around? H23 bolts... for the caps and the VC. HELP!!!
