ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Also the engine for the 93 LX 10th anniv is a F22a1. My mother has one that I've worked on many times. However, I recently replaced the motor with a rebuilt F22a4 head/block There really is no difference between the F22a1 and F22a4 but the exhaust manifolds. I did notice that since the F22a4 came from a 91 EX and the original head was F22a1 from 93 LX, there was one missing threaded hole to mount the base of the external ignition coil bracket on the dizzy side of the head. One holds it good enough, so I let it be as is.

I have an 92 EX but I have a single tip exhaust? Did some come with single or did a previous owner just swap mufflers?

I have a '91 cb9 with a f22a4 connected to a pt3, is that ok? Or should it have the pt6? It's been like this since I bought it back in '08. Also, the pt3 in the car has been de-limited lol

Pt3 ecus out of EX cars do not have limiters. If you have an A4 then the pt3 or P12 is the ecu for your car.

Oh, I see... So EX's aren't limited eh? Sweet! Must be why they put 4-wheel disc brakes lol jk jk. I have two other ECU's just laying around and when I put them in I noticed that both of them were limited to about 114-115 mph, thats why I figured mine was de-limited lol.

Its actually because of the tires

DX's and LX's do not come with tires rated for those speeds.
